Compare an established whole-assembly SCCR (CEC/NEC) or declared conditional assembly Icc (IEC) at the exact voltage. Component minimum, breaker Icu, and Icw are not accepted substitutes. Required protective device, settings and all tested-combination conditions must be confirmed. This does not determine an unknown panel SCCR.

Check one entered wire candidate against the independently established required ampacity. Enter table conditions and terminal limitation; factors must be >0 and ≤1. No automatic AWG/mm² table, continuous-load adjustment, voltage-drop, short-circuit withstand or code approval. Other derating must already be included in the supplied values.

Check a manufacturer candidate, not an automatic code rating selection. Establish minimum/maximum independently using the adopted code, load type, continuous-duty listing and conductor protection rules. No universal 125% multiplier. Motor, transformer, welder, fuse/series ratings and selectivity are outside scope. IEC also checks entered I2 ≤ 1.45 Iz; maximum must be corrected Iz. AC/DC, poles, frequency and voltage-specific breaking capacity must match the evidence.
